We received countless post-ceremony praises about Bill. He is incredible, truly. Anyone who has him officiate their wedding will receive the same praises. His presence is lovely, genuine and full of joy. He tailored the wedding to us—he listened to us, which was so refreshing in planning a wedding. I am so thankful that we found him and he had the availability to officiate our wedding. He was the only officiant we seriously spoke to and we knew in the middle of speaking with him that we were done searching. I have no doubt in my mind that we could not have found a better officiant for our wedding. We had the pleasure of working with Bill for our very small destination wedding on Kiawah Island. Our wedding was planned over only a few weeks, and we are so fortunate that Bill was the officiant that was recommended by our venue. From our first email and phone call, Bill made us feel so comfortable, and worked with us from afar at planning the perfect wedding, even walking us through the process of obtaining a marriage license in Charleston. Even without any face-to-face meetings, he was able to create the PERFECT ceremony for us. Although we only met for the first time on the day of our wedding, it felt as if he had known us for years. We truly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding, and this was largely thanks to Bill. I cannot imagine having had anyone else perform our ceremony (even our family still raves about him to this day), and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a wedding in Charleston. Our ceremony was easily one of the happiest memories that we have as a couple, and it is all thanks to Bill. We were very unsure about the direction we wanted the ceremony to go in when we first started planning, but Bill walked us through each step and helped us craft a ceremony that was beautiful, touching, funny, and most importantly, uniquely us.
With very little guidance from us, Bill put together the highlight of our wedding to so many people, and we couldn't be happier that he was such an integral part of our special day.

My husband and I eloped in Charleston in March and, after doing a lot of research, we made the effortless decision of choosing Bill as our officiant. This was by far the easiest decision we made in regard to our wedding! Not only was Bill professional, but he was personable, courteous, and took the time to get to know us (over the phone which can be difficult!) in order to create our perfect ceremony. At or after most weddings guests usually applaud the food, band, and venue. All of which was wonderful and received plenty accolades of their own. However, most praises fell upon Bill. It wasn't just the words he spoke but it was the way in which he spoke them. My sister was so impressed that she had Bill officiate her wedding the following year. We had a destination wedding in Charleston and were anxious about finding the right officiant. We wanted someone we felt understood us and the kind of ceremony we were hoping for. Bill met with us one morning and took the time to ask a lot of questions about our lives, relationship and the big day. We felt like we had known him forever and knew instantly we had found our officiant. Bill worked with us to make the ceremony exactly what we wanted and on the day of officiated it beautifully. He made everyone laugh and shed a few happy tears and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to marry us.

My husband and I were planning a destination wedding in South Carolina. Planning from Pittsburgh made me a little nervous. However, as we had it luck was on our side. We were looking for an officiant that would tailor our upcoming nuptials to be personal and have a religious blessing as well! We found Bill and everything fell into place! We were incredibly fortunate to have Bill as our wedding. From the moment I first spoke to Bill on the phone, I knew he was the one for us. His relaxing vibe, kindness, and southern drawl were just perfect for the whole feel of our wedding. He was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with, which was especially important planning a wedding from far away. The first time I met Bill in person was at a quaint coffee shop with my parents to go over the ceremony details. Although I was already confident he was the best officiant for us before actually meeting him, this meeting just solidified our choice and made me wonder "How on earth did we get so lucky to find him?!"
The rehearsal was easy, laid-back, and fun. He made my husband and I feel 100% confident that the ceremony would run smoothly the next day... which it did! I would not change one thing about our ceremony. It was exactly what we had envisioned and he made it all come to life! He did a perfect job of making the ceremony light-hearted, happy, traditional, on the short side, and with a few Catholic touches for my husband's family, which was exactly what we wanted. After the wedding, we received SO many compliments about the ceremony and Bill. Our guests were just as impressed and thrilled as we were. If you're looking to get married in the Charleston area, having Bill officiate your wedding should be the easiest decision in the wedding planning process!

From the first time we met Bill we knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding. Throughout the entire process, he was helpful, responsive, and you could tell he truly cared about making sure our ceremony exactly fit us. He worked with us multiple times on wording and making sure we got the traditional ceremony but also were able to say a few words to each other as well. Bill was a great choice to officiate our wedding. We spent a lot of time looking for one and did a lot of internet research. Since we do not live in Charleston, we called him and talked to him about the entire process. We felt very comfortable with what he said and it made us happy and we decided he was the right choice. In the months prior to the wedding, we communicated a lot with Bill. If he didn't answer the phone, he was very quick to respond, as well with e-mails. We finally got to Charleston and met him face to face and he was very receptive of our wishes. He made the officiating part of our wedding very easy and smooth and we would recommend him to anybody.

Bill was highly recommended to us and I am so thrilled we chose him as our wedding day officiant. He was with us during the planning process early on, so if we needed anything at all, he was right there to help guide us along the way and answer any questions we had. While searching for a Charleston area officiant for our October 2014 wedding, we came across Bill's website. After meeting Bill for a brief “get to know you" session, we knew immediately that we wanted Bill to officiate our ceremony. We both felt so comfortable with him and he seemed to really enjoy what he did. Over the next few months, he worked closely with us to finalize our wedding ceremony and vows. He listened to everything we said and provided us with an outline that incorporated everything we wanted. Bill even worked in an honoring of the engagement ring into the ring exchange, which was beautiful and very meaningful for us. He attended our wedding rehearsal and made us feel at ease for our big day. Our wedding day and ceremony couldn't have been more perfect and we know a lot of that is thanks to Bill. He was WONDERFUL during our ceremony! In fact, we still have people telling us how great our officiant was! Bill took care of our marriage licenses which was great and one less thing for us to worry about! We couldn't recommend Bill more highly! We are SO grateful to him!

Bill is fantastic! He patiently worked with us in the months leading up to our wedding to make sure that our ceremony was perfect. We do not live in Charleston so we were only able to speak on the phone with him and met only once in person before our wedding. All of our guests commented on how Bill seemed to have known us our entire lives. Even with states in between us, he was able to quickly get to know both of us and created an amazing ceremony. He has a great disposition and was integral in making our wedding as we have always envisioned it. He is highly recommended!

From start to finish, Bill was responsive and a pleasure to be around. He designed a ceremony that worked perfectly for us and our small, intimate wedding, including details that were very personal to us. At our outdoor park venue, we did not have any type of sound system, but he was crystal clear and easy to hear for everyone in attendance.
